Click on any of these links to download a kmz folder, then double-click on the folder in Google Earth which will automatically open.  The folder will be in your "Temporary Places" folder in Google Earth.  You may need to select the empty square next to it to show the contents on the map.

One way trips:
Shenandoah, Route 50 to 7 (14 miles, 4 hours)
Potomac, Goose Creek to Algonkian Park (8 miles, 2 hours)

There & back trips:
Shenandoah, Route 7 Bridge
Potomac, Harper's Ferry

One way trips generally are trips that go with the current of the river.  That makes for easier paddling, but requires that you have an extra vehicle waiting for you at the take out point to pick you up.

There & back trips are for solo outings or those times you don't want the hassle of an extra vehicle.  Put in and take out are at the same spot, and you can paddle as far as you want in either direction -- and turn around when you've had enough.
